Replaces Azure and cloud hosting
IronForge
The machines the rest of the suite runs on.
IronForge is the hosting underneath IronMesh — virtual machines, containers, shared web hosting, DNS and domains. Every other product in the suite runs on it, which is a reasonable test of whether it works.
The hosting itself is live and has paying customers today. The new self-service IronForge panel that replaces the current one is still being built.

Servers, not slices of someone else's abstraction
A virtual machine with its own kernel, or a container where that is enough. You get root, a console and an address, and what you do with it is your business.
A console that goes straight to the machine
When networking is broken, a browser console to the machine itself is the difference between a fix and a support ticket. It is brokered directly rather than by framing somebody else's interface.
Hosted here, supported here
The infrastructure and the people who run it are in South Africa. Latency is local and so is the phone number.
DNS that is part of the service
Authoritative DNS across three nameservers, with domain registration alongside it, so a name and the machine it points at are managed in one place.
Built for resellers
Sell hosting under your own name, with your own customers, your own pricing and your own branding, on infrastructure you do not have to own.
It carries the rest of the suite
ChainMail, Iron Hall, IronSeal and IronDrive all run on IronForge. It is not a side business — it is the foundation the other products are tested on daily.
